Zhu Xiaomin. I graduated with a PhD from the Clinical Eight Year Program at Peking University School of Medicine in 2013. The graduate supervisor is Professor Yan Xiaoming, a well-known corneal disease expert in China. The graduation project is a study on the effects of genipin on corneal biomechanics. After graduation, I worked at the Eastern Theater Command General Hospital (formerly the Nanjing Military Region General Hospital). My professional directions include corneal and ocular surface diseases, optometry, and corneal refractive surgery. Appointed as Deputy Chief Ophthalmologist in 2023. Mainly responsible for the optometry clinic. Proficient in femtosecond corneal myopia laser surgery. More than a thousand SMILE surgeries have been completed so far.

I graduated with a PhD from the Clinical Eight Year Program at Peking University School of Medicine in 2013. My graduate supervisor was Professor Yan Xiaoming, a renowned corneal disease expert in China. My graduation project was a study on the effects of Jingniping on corneal biomechanics. After graduation, I worked at the Eastern Theater Command General Hospital (formerly the Nanjing Military Region General Hospital). In 2017, I was hired as an ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and ocular surface diseases, optometry, and corneal refractive surgery. Appointed as the Deputy Chief Ophthalmologist in 2023, mainly responsible for the optometry clinic, proficient in full femtosecond corneal myopia laser surgery, and has completed over a thousand SMILE surgeries so far. Proficient in emergency management of common ophthalmic surgeries such as eye trauma, pterygium surgery, external eye and ocular surface surgeries.

Professional expertise:

Clinical diagnosis and laser surgery treatment of various refractive errors, especially femtosecond corneal myopia laser surgery. Prevention and control of myopia in adolescents and children, diagnosis and treatment of corneal and ocular surface diseases, and comprehensive treatment of dry eye syndrome. Diagnosis and treatment of common diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases.
