Ningbo Taikang Brain Hospital is located in the core area of the Eastern New City, the political, economic, cultural, and commercial center of Ningbo City. The total construction area of the hospital is about 119000 square meters, with a designed total of 416 beds. It is the first approved tertiary brain hospital in Zhejiang Province and will officially open for operation in January 2024. The hospital takes neurology and internal and external medicine as its strategic disciplines, with specialties in neuroscience, spine, bone and sports medicine, rehabilitation medicine, and other related fields. It has established a multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment team, implemented the Taikang medical and elderly care integration strategy, and established a modern medical model characterized by "strong specialization, precision integration" and "medical rehabilitation" integration.

Ning Hospital has established a multi-level and deep cooperation with Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and listed as a neurology specialty medical consortium. The two sides have deep cooperation in talent teams, expert resources, diagnosis and treatment technology, and scientific research. At the same time, the hospital cooperates with Mount Sinai Hospital in the United States, introducing international advanced management concepts, new clinical technologies and methods, high standard medical quality control systems, and medical staff training systems, to build an international high-level tertiary neurology hospital that is based in Ningbo, radiates to the Yangtze River Delta region, and has a certain influence nationwide, combining medicine, education, and research.

In the future, the Taikang Ningbo International Medical and Nursing Hospital Area will be composed of Ningbo Taikang Brain Hospital and Taikang Home · Yongyuan, jointly promoting the characteristic of Taikang Medical's "combination of medical insurance and medical and nursing integration", and becoming a new sample of medical and nursing integration in the urban core area.
