As an orthopedic surgeon, Professor Qi Xinsheng deeply understands that the urgent needs of patients and thinking what patients think are the moral qualities that every medical staff should possess. Having superb surgical skills and achieving the goal of treating diseases from hand to hand should be the lifelong pursuit of surgeons. Therefore, Professor Qi Xinsheng has been focusing on training surgical skills since his first day as a surgeon. When I was young, I humbly learned from domestic and foreign experts, trained diligently, was good at summarizing, constantly improved, and laid a solid foundation. After becoming an orthopedic expert, I devoted myself to teaching and leading by example, serving as a role model for others. With over 30 years of experience working in a top tier teaching hospital, I have trained numerous medical undergraduate and graduate students, and helped countless patients relieve their suffering and restore their health. I have received unanimous praise from patients and high recognition from peers. In 2008, he was awarded the title of Wuxi Xingzhou Cup Excellent Physician for the treatment of injured patients in the Wenchuan earthquake. Professor Qi Xinsheng has comprehensive technical expertise in orthopedics, especially in the treatment of degenerative spinal diseases such as neck and shoulder pain, lower back and leg pain, and complex artificial joint replacement.

Professor Qi Xinsheng has been engaged in clinical work in orthopedics for 36 years, with a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring orthopedic diseases, and can make reasonable analysis, correct judgments, and treatments for difficult and complex cases. The surgical technique is comprehensive and exquisite, especially in the surgical treatment of degenerative spinal diseases such as lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, and complex artificial joint replacement, with high precision. Proficient in minimally invasive spine surgery, we have been one of the earliest in China to carry out endoscopic surgery for lumbar disc herniation and minimally invasive treatment for vertebral fractures.

Published over 30 professional scientific papers, co authored 3 monographs, and trained over 20 master's students. Hosted and completed 3 provincial and ministerial level projects, participated in 5 provincial and ministerial level projects, won 1 second-class and 1 third class provincial science and technology progress award, and won 3 second class awards for new technology introduction from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Health.
