From 1989 to 2002, he worked in the Department of Neurology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University (Zhengzhou University), and served as a resident, attending physician, deputy chief physician, associate professor, chief physician, professor, master tutor, and judge of senior medical titles in Henan Province.

In 2002, he was transferred to the Zhongda Hospital affiliated to Southeast University as an imported talent. In 2002 -2003, he served as the director of geriatrics, and in 2003 -2024, he served as the deputy director, professor, chief physician, doctoral tutor and postdoctoral cooperative tutor of neurology. He is also a member of the Ethics Committee of Zhongda Hospital affiliated to Southeast University and a senior professional title judge of Southeast University.
