In 1996, the Multi channel Sleep Imaging Room of Nanjing Gulou Hospital was established. In 2003, he studied for six months at the Sleep Research Center of Robert Koch Hospital in Germany, majoring in the relationship between sleep breathing disorders and metabolic disorders. In 2010, the first case of occupational indium dust exposure associated pulmonary alveolar proteinosis was reported internationally, and in 2012, it was invited by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to give a special academic report on indium related occupational lung disease. The study on the relationship between occupational exposure and GM-CSF antibodies in pulmonary alveolar proteinosis published in an internationally renowned occupational disease journal in 2015 has attracted widespread attention. Due to successful research in rare respiratory diseases, I was invited to become the initiator of the establishment of the first China Rare Disease Alliance in 2018 and served as a standing committee member of the respiratory disease branch of the first Rare Disease Alliance in 2019. Received the 12th Chinese Physician Award.
