The Ultrasound Medicine Department of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital is one of the key development disciplines of the hospital. There are currently 12 ultrasound doctors, 3 with graduate degrees or above, 5 with associate chief physician or above titles, and 5 attending physicians. The academic leader is Ren Xiaolong, a medical doctor, chief physician, and visiting scholar from the United States appointed by the China Scholarship Council. The department has multiple advanced medical devices such as LOGIQ E20, VOLUSON E 10, EPIQ 7, etc., with advanced imaging functions such as image fusion navigation, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, elastography, and computer-aided imaging. We can carry out comprehensive diagnosis and treatment projects including abdominal ultrasound, cardiovascular ultrasound, superficial organ ultrasound, obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound, intracavitary ultrasound, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, interventional ultrasound, etc. It can diagnose various systemic diseases, especially in the fields of fetal malformation screening, tissue and organ biopsy, multiple organ cyst sclerosis treatment, multiple site abscess fluid drainage, thyroid nodules, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and microwave and radiofrequency ablation treatment for focal liver lesions, which are at the advanced level in China.
