The Anesthesia and Surgery Center of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital is a secondary clinical discipline that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. The operating rooms are equipped with Drager anesthesia machines, multifunctional monitors, high-definition endoscopic systems, etc. The scope of work in the department includes clinical anesthesia, pain diagnosis and treatment, comfort medicine (painless digestive endoscopy, painless delivery, painless bronchoscopy, examination under sedation and analgesia, diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain, etc.), anesthesia nursing units, etc. The department has published more than 30 SCI and core journals, presided over 1 Nanjing Municipal Research Fund, 5 institute level Research Funds, and obtained more than 20 utility model patents.
