The Nephrology Department of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital is based on clinical practice, continuously strengthening the construction of talent teams, comprehensively conducting research on clinical comprehensive prevention and treatment of kidney disease and new business and technology, innovating and applying advanced clinical diagnosis and treatment technologies, and improving medical service capabilities. The discipline consists of a nephrology ward, a blood purification center, a peritoneal dialysis center, and specialized expert clinics. At present, Ward 201 has 32 beds, 35 blood purification equipment, 3 CRRTs, and 2 automatic peritoneal dialysis machines. The nephrology team has special features in primary glomerular diseases, various secondary kidney diseases (diabetes nephropathy, hypertensive kidney damage, hyperuricemia, lupus nephritis, vasculitis, abnormal globulinemia and other kidney damage), renal tubulointerstitial diseases, prevention and treatment of acute and chronic renal failure, various blood purification technologies, diagnosis and treatment of difficult and critical diseases, etc.
