The department currently has a specimen receiving room, a sampling room, a slicing room, an immunohistochemistry room, a molecular laboratory, a pathology diagnosis room, a cell diagnosis room, a frozen section diagnosis room, a pathology archive room, etc. It has advanced pathological detection equipment such as Olympus microscope, Nikon fluorescence microscope, SLEE tissue slicer, Thermo Fisher frozen slicer, Roche fully automatic immunohistochemistry staining machine, Sakura fully automatic staining and sealing machine, etc. Routine activities include histopathological examination and diagnosis of various parts of the body, intraoperative frozen section examination and diagnosis, fine needle aspiration cytology examination and diagnosis, fluid and exfoliative cytology examination and diagnosis, immunohistochemical staining diagnosis, liquid based thin-layer cell sectioning, cervical HPV typing detection, molecular pathological testing, and other projects.
